In order to increase the
performance of enterprises, CODETI
developed the concept of a Management
System for Enterprises Competitiveness (MS-EC),
based on principles of international
standards like ISO 9000 and ISO 14000,
among others. For instance, inside this
System, it developed SUDIAC©
in which, without entering in the concept
analysis, from a practical view a tool
can be classified in any of the three
levels: the entry level, a holistic level
and an in-depth level.
The
entry level refers to initial analysis to
determine the company's attitude towards
technological changes and their
implementation. The
holistic
level refers to integral
analysis, such as of eight functional
areas of the enterprise:
Commercialization, Environmental
Management, Finance and Accounting, Human
Resources Management, Information
Systems, Production and Operations,
Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning.
This analysis allows to define actions
for the improvement of the priority
identified areas.
The In-Depth Level refers to
a more exhaustive analysis of the
critical areas, such as:
Environmental
Performance,
Manufacturing, Quality and Financing. CODETI has developed and adapted specific
tools for each of these areas. It should
be noted that quality aspects were
achieved through the collaboration with
the Quebec Society for Quality (QSQ) for
the adaptation of the Qualimeter.
Finally, a Strategy Competitive
Benchmarking Tool -"Inteligencia
Competitiva"-has been developed as
well as a tool to support BDS providers
in its performance, impact and
sustainability.
On the other hand, CODETI
has recently developed a
software
which facilitates any industry diagnosis
tool information processing and
systematizing -through a Data Base- in
order to support the definition of
specific strategic actions in a
sub-sectoral and sectoral level, also
performing Benchmarking and supporting
enterprises and Business Development
Services (BDS) performance and impact.
